I just joined and wanted to say HELLO to all of you.

Hmmm.... what can I tell ya'll about me?

* I'm female, 38 (soon to be 39) years old and live in the Northeastern US.

* I have dark auburn color-treated hair with a natural curly texture (3a & 3b) that's BSL when curly and WL when straightend. (I rarely straighten, nowadays.) For many years, I was chemically relaxed/straightend, but have embraced my curl, about 6+ years ago.

* I'm what most makeup boards would classify as a "MMM" or a light "CCC." (My mom is bi-racial "brown" and my dad is white.) My undertone is a peachy/yellow. In most "white" makeup lines, I am toward the end of their shade spectrum. For lines that cater more toward women "of color" I am typically more toward the beginning of their shade spectrum. FYI: In Stila's oil-free foundation I am a shade G. In Alima's MMU foundation I am a W5 in the summer and a mix of W4 & W5, the rest of the year.

* I have green-blue eyes that sometimes change color - especially if I wear something in blue, purple, green or brown. Then, my eyes can almost become the color of the outfit (or close to it.)

* As far as makeup is concerned, I am a lipstick queen. I probably own 70+ lipsticks and maybe 30+ colored glosses and lip pencils. - Why?... you ask.... I donno, I just love 'em. Lipsticks are a cheap and easy "pick-me-up."
